CdZnTe thin films growth by RF sputtering for CdTe solar cells

TL;DR: In this article, Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CZT) films were deposited by co-sputtering of CdTe and ZnTe targets in an RF magnetron sputtering using various combinations of RF powers, and the effect of sputtering power on the properties of CZT films were studied using SEM, EDX, XRD, AFM and UV-VIS spectrophotometer.

Hydrogen production from combined wind/PV energy hybrid system in Malaysia

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe the design, simulation and feasibility study of a hybrid energy system for a household in Malaysia using National Renewable Energy Laboratory's HOMER software.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Comprehensive Study on Mo/CdTe Metal-Semiconductor Interface Deposited by Radio Frequency Magnetron Sputtering.

TL;DR: Metal-semiconductor junction between Mo and CdTe, which is one of the fundamental issues for Cd Te based solar cell, has been investigated for films deposited on different substrates and the type of unintentionally formed MoTe2 on PI substrate is found to be n-type in nature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Feasibility of vertical photovoltaic system on high-rise building in Malaysia: Performance evaluation

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors focus on the application of photovoltaic (PV) technology on vertical facade of the building which is considered as an element of building-integrated PV and assess the feasibility with regard to performance evaluation of PV vertical facade based on the built-up model of a highrise building in Malaysia using system advisor model.
