The GEO 600 stabilized laser system and the current-lock technique
Benno Willke,Oliver Sascha Brozek,Karsten Danzmann,Carsten Fallnich,Stefan Goßler,Harald Lück,Kasem Mossavi,V. Quetschke,H. Welling,I. Zawischa +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the GEO 600 laser-diode pumped Nd:YAG laser system is described and the laser frequency stabilization scheme is presented. But, due to the low power noise in the radio frequency region and due to its good spatial beam quality, an injection-locked master-slave design is used for GEO600 laser.
Journal ArticleDOI
New Design of Electrostatic Mirror Actuators for Application in High-Precision Interferometry
TL;DR: In this paper, a new geometry for electrostatic actuators to be used in sensitive laser interferometers, suited for prototype and table top experiments related to gravitational wave detection with mirrors of 100 g or less, was described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Wittchen,C. Zanoni,Tobias Ziegler,Peter Zweifel +85 more
TL;DR: The Bayesian analysis framework is presented to process the planned system identification experiments designed for that purpose and focuses on the analysis strategies to predict the accuracy of the parameters that describe the system in all degrees of freedom.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fiber modulators and fiber amplifiers for LISA
Michael Tröbs,Simon Barke,J. Möbius,M. Engelbrecht,T. Theeg,Dietmar Kracht,Benjamin Sheard,Gerhard Heinzel,Karsten Danzmann +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the sideband phase characteristics of a fiber-coupled integrated electro-optical modulator (EOM) at a modulation frequency of 2 GHz for Fourier frequencies from 0.1 mHz to 1 Hz were presented.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

TL;DR: The GEO600 laser interferometric gravitational wave detector is approaching the end of its commissioning phase which started in 1995 as discussed by the authors, and it has been operated for 15 days in a power-recycled michelson configuration.
