TL;DR: In this paper, the residual nuclei produced in the spallation reaction of Xe-136 nuclei at 200A MeV on protons have been studied by measuring the isotopic distributions for the elements from cadmium (Z = 48) to cesium(Z = 55) by using the fragment separator (FRS) spectrometer at GSI and the inverse kinematics technique.
Journal ArticleDOI
16O + 28Si elastic scattering at EL=94 MeV/nucleon
P. Roussel,J. Barrette,F. Auger,B. Berthier,B. Fernandez,J. Gastebois,A. Gillibert,L. Papineau,W. Mittig,D. Disdier,B. Lott,V. Rauch,F. Scheibling,Christoph A. Stephan,L. Tassan-Got +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, the angular distribution is sensitive to the real part of the ion-ion potential over a broad domain extending from 5 to 8 fm, i.e. well inside the strong absorption radius (7.3 fm) and overlapping the sum of the nuclear radii (5.7 fm).
Journal ArticleDOI

Vincente,Vasilis Vlachoudis,R. Vlastou,F. Voss,S. Walter,Michael Wiescher,K. Wisshak +110 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the (n,γ) cross section of 96Zr was investigated at the CERN n-TOF spallation neutron source and the results confirmed the astrophysical implications for the s-process branching at 95Zr.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fission of highly excited fragments from collisions of 750 A.MeV 238 U-ions on 208 Pb
W. Schwab,M. Bernas,P. Armbruster,S. Czajkowski,Ph. Dessagne,C. Donzaud,Hans Geissel,Andreas Martin Heinz,C. Kozhuharov,Ch. Miehé,G. Münzenberg,M. Pfützner,Christoph A. Stephan,K. Sümmerer,L. Tassan-Got,Bernd Voss +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used the fragment separator FRS for magnetic selection of reaction products including ray-tracing and ΔE-ToF techniques for relativistic 750 A.MeV U-projectiles.
Measurements in the beam direction of the $^{40}$Ar projectile fragmentation at 44 MeV/A
C.O. Bacri,P. Roussel,V. Borrel,F. Clapier,R. Anne,M. Bernas,Y. Blumenfeld,H. Gauvin,J. Herault,J.C. Jacmart,F. Pougheon,J.L. Sida,C. Stephan,T. Suomijaervi,L. Tassan-Got +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, the beam-direction measurements (0° and 3°) have been performed on the 40 Ar projectile fragmentation on a Ni target, at 44 MeV/u, by using the telescopic mode on the double spectrometer LISE at GANIL.
