Study of photon strength functions of 241Pu and 245Cm from neutron capture measurements

E. Mendoza, +143 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured the γ-rays following neutron capture on 240 Pu and 244 Cm at the n_TOF facility at CERN with the Total Absorption Calorimeter (TAC) and with C6D6 organic scintillators.

G. Tagliente, +117 more
- 24 Feb 2022 -
TL;DR: In this article , the authors extracted the resonance parameters of individual resonances up to 81 keV from a combined resonance shape analysis of experimental transmissions and capture yields and calculated the average resonance parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigation of Neutron-induced Reactions at n_TOF: an Overview of the 2009-2012 Experimental Program

Carlos Guerrero, +108 more
- 01 May 2014 -
TL;DR: In this article, the physics program at n_TOF and the measurements performed between 2009 and 2012 are studied. But the authors focus on those experiments that have been most challenging, are more important for a particular field, have reached unprecedented levels of accuracy, or have been carried out for the first time ever.
Journal ArticleDOI

High-resolution evaluation of the U5(n,f) cross section from 3 keV to 30 keV

TL;DR: In this paper, the 235 U(n,f) low-background and high-resolution experimental data obtained at the CERN-nTOF facility is combined with previous high resolution experimental data, in order to produce a very fine grid dataset with normalisation to the IAEA Reference file.
