Measurement of the neutron-induced fission cross-section of 243Am relative to 235U from 0.5 to 20 MeV

F. Belloni, +122 more
TL;DR: The ratio of the neutron-induced fission cross-sections of 243Am and 235U was measured in the energy range from 0.5 to 20 MeV with uncertainties of ≈ 4%.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of Photon Strength Function of Actinides: the Case of 235U, 238Np and 241Pu

Carlos Guerrero, +127 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the validity of the recommended PSF of actinides, in particular {sup 235}U, {sup 238}Np and {sup 241}Pu.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement and resonance analysis of the 33S(n,α) 30Si cross section at the CERN n_TOF facility in the energy region from 10 to 300 keV

Javier Praena, +118 more
- 04 Jun 2018 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the 33S(n, α)30Si cross section at CERN in the neutron energy range from 10 to 300 keV relative to the 10B(n and α)7Li cross-section standard.
Journal ArticleDOI

APS : Measurement of the $^{238}\mathrm{U}(n,\gamma)$ cross section up to 80 keV with the Total Absorption Calorimeter at the CERN n_TOF facility

T. J. Wright, +112 more
- 01 Dec 2017 -
TL;DR: The radiative capture cross section of a highly pure (99.999%), 6.125(2) grams and 9.56(5) 10-4 atoms/barn areal density 238-U sample has been measured with the Total Absorption Calorimeter (TAC) in the 185 m flight path at the CERN neutron time-of-flight facility n_TOF as mentioned in this paper.
