Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of fluorophenyl derivatives of iron, molybdenum and tungstenvia B(C6F5)3 and unusualcarbon–fluorine bond reactions

TL;DR: In this paper, the reaction of the donor molecules to the donor molecule reaction with the donor donor molecules has been analyzed by photo-lysis of a compound where L = PMe and PMe = PMm.
Journal ArticleDOI

A bonding model for bent bis-(π-cyclopentadienyl) metal compounds

TL;DR: An alternative to the Balhausen and Alcock models for bis-(π-cyclopentadienyl) metal systems, based on new structural data, is described in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Respiratory muscle function in cystic fibrosis.

TL;DR: In this article, the quadriceps femoris muscle strength was measured in 25 patients with cystic fibrosis (mean FEV1 46% predicted), and mean (SD) PEmax was 64% (18%) predicted (below 75% predicted in 16 of the 25 patients).
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of aminophylline on the human diaphragm.

TL;DR: The result suggests that theophylline at therapeutic concentrations has little effect on the contractility of the normal human diaphragm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electron beam induced in situ clusterisation of 1D ZrCl4 chains within single-walled carbon nanotubes

TL;DR: Cluster formation can be induced in situ in SWNTs filled with ZrCl4 by electron beam irradiation of SWNT/ZrCl 4 composites within a field emission gun transmission (FEGTEM) as mentioned in this paper.
