TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the behavioral responses, purinergic receptor densities, ectonucleotidases (E-NTPDase), adenosine deaminase (ADA) activity, and nitric oxide (NO) levels along with the parameters of oxidative stress-related to erectile function in the cerebral cortex (CC) of L-NAME-challenged rats pretreated with tigernut (TN) and walnut (WN) dietary supplementation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enzymes that hydrolyze adenine nucleotides in platelets and polymorphisms in the α2 gene of integrin α2β1 in patients with von Willebrand disease

TL;DR: Results indicated reduced platelet NTPDase and E-NPP activities which might be related to the low platelet adhesiveness, and the prevalence of the 807C allele might account for the variability in bleeding in VWD.
