TL;DR: It is suggested that the leg weakness and muscle injuries common in infected animals with T. evansi may be related to a reduced activity of Ca(2+) ATPase and oxidative stress.

TL;DR: In this paper , the effect of caffeic acid (CA) on behavioral learning and memory tasks in the diabetic state was evaluated, and the results indicated that CA treatment positively modified the activities of cholinergic and purinergic enzymes and the density of receptors, and improved the inflammatory parameters of diabetic animals.
