Journal ArticleDOI
Infrared spectra of Pt(II) creatinine complexes. Normal coordinate analysis of creatinine and Pt(creat)2(NO2)2
TL;DR: In this article, the fundamental vibrations for the creatinine molecule were assigned by normal coordinate analysis in the generalized valence force field approximation in the infrared spectra of the molecule.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and characterization of copper(II) and nickel(II) complexes of (9′-fluorene)-spiro-5-dithiohydantoin
TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis and structural characterization of new Cu(II and Ni(II) complexes of (9′-fluorene)-spiro-5-dithiohydantoin are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Kinetics of degradation of dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine (DPPC) bilayers as a result of vipoxin phospholipase A2 activity: an atomic force microscopy (AFM) approach.
TL;DR: AFM is used as an analytical tool to visualize the degradation of a phospholipid bilayer undergoing hydrolysis of the vipoxin's PLA(2) action and the appearance and the growth of three-dimensional (3D), crystal-like structures within the formed defects of the degraded bilayer are observed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and structure of Pd(II) complexes of 1,2,3-triphenylguanidine
TL;DR: In this article, the formation of two complexes by reaction of [PdCl4]2- with 1,2,3-triphenylguanidine (PhNH)2C=NPh under different metal/ligand ratios has been observed and the structure of the complex has been determined by X-ray diffraction methods.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, characterization and spectroscopic properties of some 2-substituted 1,3-indandiones and their metal complexes
TL;DR: In this paper, the structures of 2-acyl-1,3-indandione derivatives were characterized by means of spectroscopic methods (FT-IR, 1H and 13C NMR, UV-Vis and MS) based on the obtained results it is suggested that the compounds exist in the exocyclic enolic form.
