Journal ArticleDOI
Enhanced magnetization in highly crystalline and atomically mixed bcc Fe–Co nanoalloys prepared by hydrogen reduction of oxide composites
Jafar Sharif,Miho Yamauchi,Miho Yamauchi,Shoichi Toh,Syo Matsumura,Shin Ichiro Noro,Kenichi Kato,Masaki Takata,Tatsuya Tsukuda,Tatsuya Tsukuda +9 more
TL;DR: In situ X-ray diffraction measurements using synchrotron radiation clearly showed development of a solid-solution Fe-Co phase by hydrogen reduction from the oxide composites, and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy revealed that Fe- Co NAs form a single crystal structure and the two elements are mixed homogeneously.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chemical reaction-inspired crystal growth of a coordination polymer toward morphology design and control.
Shigeyuki Masaoka,Daisuke Tanaka,Hiroyuki Kitahata,Sumiko Araki,Ryotaro Matsuda,Kenichi Yoshikawa,Kenichi Kato,Masaki Takata,Susumu Kitagawa +8 more
TL;DR: The results are reproduced as a simple reaction-diffusion system, indicating that chemical reactions on crystal surfaces play an important role in determining the macroscopic crystal morphologies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structures and crystal chemistry of the double perovskites Ba2LnB′O6 (Ln=lanthanide and B′=Nb, Ta):. Part II-Temperature dependence of the structures of Ba2LnB′O6
Paul J. Saines,Jarrah R. Spencer,Brendan J. Kennedy,Yoshiki Kubota,Chiharu Minakata,Hiroko Hano,Kenichi Kato,Masaki Takata +7 more
TL;DR: The structures of eight members of the series of double perovskites of the type Ba2LnB′O6 were examined both above and below room temperature using synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction.
Journal ArticleDOI
Biobased Copolymers Composed of l‐Lactic Acid and Side‐Chain‐Substituted Lactic Acids: Synthesis, Properties, and Solid‐State Structure
Journal ArticleDOI
CO2 superabsorption in a paddlewheel-type Ru dimer chain compound: gate-open performance dependent on inter-chain interactions
Wataru Kosaka,Kayo Yamagishi,Hiroki Yoshida,Ryotaro Matsuda,Susumu Kitagawa,Masaki Takata,Hitoshi Miyasaka +6 more
TL;DR: A porous one-dimensional coordination chain compound derived by drying its nitrobenzene-solvated compound, specifically adsorbs CO(2) at 195 K in a stepwise sorption manner.
