Journal ArticleDOI

Pressure-induced charge ordering of LiV2O4

TL;DR: The powder X-ray diffraction experiments of LiV 2 O 4 have been performed at low temperature and high pressure using synchrotron radiation as mentioned in this paper, and the cubic-rhombohedral phase transition corresponding to the metal-insulator transition is found at around 13 GPa.
Journal ArticleDOI

A structural diagnostics diagram for metallofullerenes encapsulating metal carbides and nitrides.

TL;DR: The linear dependence found in the present study provides a metallofullerene diagnostics diagram that may have universal importance for structural characterization of the so-called cluster endohedral fullerenes.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Synchrotron Powder Diffraction Study of Na-LTA

TL;DR: In this article, a new method which is a iterative use of Rietveld refinement and maximum entropy method is applied in order to improve a structure model used in Rietvld refinement.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preferential formation of columnar mesophases via peripheral modification of discotic π-systems with immiscible side chain pairs

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors show that if side chains are attached at one imide position of a perylenediimide core and triethyleneglycol (TEG) chains on the other side, the resulting molecules self-assemble into a rectangular columnar mesophase with p2mg symmetry, forming hydrophobic/hydrophilic nano-segregation of side chains.
