Pressure-induced charge ordering of LiV2O4
Keiki Takeda,H. Hidaka,Hisashi Kotegawa,Tatsuo C. Kobayashi,Katsuya Shimizu,Hisatomo Harima,Kenji Fujiwara,Kiyotaka Miyoshi,Jun Takeuchi,Yasuo Ohishi,Takafumi Adachi,Masaki Takata,Eiji Nishibori,Makoto Sakata,Tetsu Watanuki,Osamu Shimomura +15 more
TL;DR: The powder X-ray diffraction experiments of LiV 2 O 4 have been performed at low temperature and high pressure using synchrotron radiation as mentioned in this paper, and the cubic-rhombohedral phase transition corresponding to the metal-insulator transition is found at around 13 GPa.
Journal ArticleDOI
A structural diagnostics diagram for metallofullerenes encapsulating metal carbides and nitrides.
Sachiko Maki,Eiji Nishibori,Ikuya Terauchi,Masayuki Ishihara,Shinobu Aoyagi,Makoto Sakata,Masaki Takata,Hisashi Umemoto,Takashi Inoue,Hisanori Shinohara +9 more
TL;DR: The linear dependence found in the present study provides a metallofullerene diagnostics diagram that may have universal importance for structural characterization of the so-called cluster endohedral fullerenes.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Synchrotron Powder Diffraction Study of Na-LTA
Kazuhide Hasegawa,Eiji Nishibori,Masaki Takata,Makoto Sakata,Nozomu Togashi,Jihong Yu,Osamu Terasaki +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a new method which is a iterative use of Rietveld refinement and maximum entropy method is applied in order to improve a structure model used in Rietvld refinement.
Journal ArticleDOI

Seike,S Goto,H Ohno,Masaki Takata,Hideo Kitamura,T Ishikawa,Mizuki Tada,Toshihiko Yokoyama,Yasuhiro Iwasawa +37 more
TL;DR: A tapered undulator beamline was constructed at SPring-8 to conduct structural and electronic analysis of dynamic events on polymer electrolyte fuel cell (PEFC) cathode catalysts for the development of next-generation PEFCs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preferential formation of columnar mesophases via peripheral modification of discotic π-systems with immiscible side chain pairs
Tsuneaki Sakurai,Tsuneaki Sakurai,Yusuke Tsutsui,Kenichi Kato,Masaki Takata,Shu Seki,Shu Seki +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors show that if side chains are attached at one imide position of a perylenediimide core and triethyleneglycol (TEG) chains on the other side, the resulting molecules self-assemble into a rectangular columnar mesophase with p2mg symmetry, forming hydrophobic/hydrophilic nano-segregation of side chains.
