Adherence clubs and decentralized medication delivery to support patient retention and sustained viral suppression in care: Results from a cluster-randomized evaluation of differentiated ART delivery models in South Africa.
Matthew P. Fox,Matthew P. Fox,Sophie Js Pascoe,Amy N Huber,Joshua Murphy,Mokgadi Phokojoe,Marelize Gorgens,Sydney Rosen,Sydney Rosen,David Wilson,Yogan Pillay,Nicole Fraser-Hurt +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated two interventions in 24 South African facilities: adherence clubs (ACs) and decentralized medication delivery (DMD) for stable patients, and found comparable DMD outcomes versus standard of care at facilities, a benefit for retention of patients in care with ACs, and apparent benefits in terms of retention (for AC patients) and sustained viral suppression among men.

TL;DR: Evidence of continued care after LTFU is found and local and national clinic mobility among postpartum women is identified and a national health database linked to a unique identifier is necessary to improve reporting and patient care among highly mobile populations.

Stressful Events During Pregnancy and Postpartum Depressive Symptoms
Sarah Lederberg Stone,Hafsatou Diop,Eugene Declercq,Howard Cabral,Matthew P. Fox,Lauren A. Wise +5 more
