Methylenebisnicotiflorin: a rare methylene-bridged bisflavonoid glycoside from ripe Pu-er tea

TL;DR: A new methylene-bridged dimeric flavonol glycoside, methylenebisnicotiflorin, was isolated from ripe Pu-er tea, along with 10 known flavonoids and seven known phenolic compounds, reported from tea plants for the first time.
Journal ArticleDOI

Steroidal Saponins from Disporopsis pernyi

TL;DR: In this article, disporosides A-D (1-4) have been isolated from the fresh rhizomes of Disporopsis pernyi, together with the three known compounds Ys-I, agavoside B, and (3beta,25R)-3-[(beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)-[beta-d-glocopyrnosyl)oxy]-5beta-spirostan (2), (3β,22R, 25R)-26]-(β-Dgl
Journal ArticleDOI

Phenolic constituents from the leaves of Syzygium forrestii Merr. and Perry

TL;DR: Several flavonoid glycosides and hydrolysable tannins could be served as the chemotaxonomic markers of the genus Syzygium.
Journal ArticleDOI

New cytotoxic lignan glycosides from Phyllanthus glaucus

TL;DR: During the process of exploring bioactive lead compounds from Phyllanthus species, two new glycosides including an arylnaphthalene lignan, diphyllin 4-O-α-l-arabinopyranoside, and a phenolic compound, 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl alcohol 7- o- α-l -arabinofuranosyl-(1 → 6)-β-d-glucopyr
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparative study on "long-dan", "qin-jiao" and their adulterants by HPLC analysis.

TL;DR: It was suggested that four iridoid glycosides 1–4 commonly existed in both “Long-Dan” and “Qin-Jiao”, while 2′-(o,m-dihydroxybenzyl)sweroside also existed as one of the major components in “Dian-Long- Dan” species.
