The oral and gut microbiomes are perturbed in rheumatoid arthritis and partly normalized after treatment
Xuan Zhang,Dongya Zhang,Huijue Jia,Qiang Feng,Donghui Wang,Di Liang,Xiangni Wu,Junhua Li,Longqing Tang,Yin Li,Zhou Lan,Bing Chen,Yanli Li,Huanzi Zhong,Hailiang Xie,Zhuye Jie,Weineng Chen,Shanmei Tang,Xiaoqiang Xu,Xiaokai Wang,Xianghang Cai,Liu Sheng,Yan Xia,Jiyang Li,Xingye Qiao,Jumana Y. Al-Aama,Hua Chen,Li Wang,Qingjun Wu,Fengchun Zhang,Wenjie Zheng,Yongzhe Li,Mingrong Zhang,Guangwen Luo,Wenbin Xue,Liang Xiao,Jun Li,Wanting Chen,Xun Xu,Ye Yin,Huanming Yang,Jian Wang,Karsten Kristiansen,Liang Liu,Ting Li,Qingchun Huang,Yingrui Li,Jun Wang +47 more
TL;DR: Altered alterations in the gut, dental or saliva microbiome distinguished individuals with RA from healthy controls, were correlated with clinical measures and could be used to stratify individuals on the basis of their response to therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sequencing of the MHC region defines HLA-DQA1 as the major genetic risk for seropositive rheumatoid arthritis in Han Chinese population
Jianping Guo,Tao Zhang,Hongzhi Cao,Xiaowei Li,Hao Liang,Mengru Liu,Yundong Zou,Yuanwei Zhang,Yuxuan Wang,Xiaolin Sun,Fanlei Hu,Yan Du,Mo Xiaodong,Xu Liu,Yue Yang,Huanjie Yang,Xinyu Wu,Xuewu Zhang,Huijue Jia,Hui Jiang,Yong Hou,Xin Liu,Yin Su,Mingrong Zhang,Huanming Yang,Jian Wang,Liangdan Sun,Liang Liu,Leonid Padyukov,Luhua Lai,Kazuhiko Yamamoto,Xuejun Zhang,Xuejun Zhang,Lars Klareskog,Xun Xu,Zhanguo Li +35 more
TL;DR: This study provides the first evidence that HLA-DQα1:160D, instead of Hla-DRB1*0405, is the strongest and independent genetic risk for ACPA-positive RA in Han Chinese, and illustrates the value of deep sequencing for fine-mapping disease risk variants in the MHC region.
Journal ArticleDOI
Integrated genetic analyses revealed novel human longevity loci and reduced risks of multiple diseases in a cohort study of 15,651 Chinese individuals.
Xiaomin Liu,Zijun Song,Yan Li,Yao Yao,Yao Yao,Mingyan Fang,Chen Bai,Chen Bai,Peng An,Huashuai Chen,Zhihua Chen,Biyao Tang,Juan Shen,Xiaotong Gao,Mingrong Zhang,Pengyu Chen,Tao Zhang,Huijue Jia,Xiao Liu,Yong Hou,Huanming Yang,Jian Wang,Fudi Wang,Fudi Wang,Xun Xu,Junxia Min,Chao Nie,Yi Zeng,Yi Zeng +28 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper performed a genetic association study of longevity in a total of 15,651 Chinese individuals and found that longevity was genetically causally correlated with reduced risks of multiple diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and arthritis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Performance of genetic risk factors in prediction of trichloroethylene induced hypersensitivity syndrome
Yufei Dai,Ying Chen,Hanlin Huang,Wei Zhou,Yong Niu,Mingrong Zhang,Ping Bin,Haiyan Dong,Qiang Jia,Jianxun Huang,Juan Yi,Qijun Liao,Haishan Li,Yanxia Teng,Dan Zang,Qingfeng Zhai,Huawei Duan,Juan Shen,Jiaxi He,Tao Meng,Yan Sha,Meili Shen,Meng Ye,Xiaowei Jia,Yingping Xiang,Huiping Huang,Qifeng Wu,Mingming Shi,Xianqing Huang,Huanming Yang,Longhai Luo,Sai Li,Lin Li,Jinyang Zhao,Laiyu Li,Jun Wang,Yuxin Zheng +36 more
TL;DR: The genomewide association study and replication study with total of 174 cases and 1761 trichloroethylene-tolerant controls found two SNPs that exceeded the threshold for genome-wide significance and could be considered for translational application for screening employees before exposure.
Journal ArticleDOI
Positron emission tomography molecular imaging to monitor anti-tumor systemic response for immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy
Xiaoqing Xing,Qing Zhao,Jinyun Zhou,Rui Zhou,Yu Liu,Xiyi Qin,Mingrong Zhang,Yan Zhong,Jing Wang,Mei Tian,Long Zhang +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a review of the application of PET molecular imaging to date of systemic immune responses following ICI therapy and the associated rationale is presented, where the authors briefly review the application and rationale for using PET imaging to assess the systemic immune response elicited by immune checkpoint inhibitors to guide subsequent treatment regimens.
