High resolution spectroscopy of the B-12(Lambda) hypernucleus produced by the (e, e-prime K+) reaction

TL;DR: In this paper, the (e,e'K+) reaction was used to obtain the best resolution of the 12B (hypernuclear) spectrum using magnetic spectrometers, and the positions of the major excitations were in agreement with theoretical predictions and the previous binding energy measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI

Observation of the (Λ)(7)He hypernucleus by the (e, e'K+) reaction.

S. N. Nakamura, +95 more
TL;DR: The ground state of a neutron-rich hypernucleus, (Λ)(7)He, was observed for the first time with the (e, e'K+) reaction with an energy resolution of ~0.6 MeV as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

High resolution spectroscopic study of Be 10 Lambda

Toshiyuki Gogami, +85 more
- 10 Mar 2016 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the binding energy of the ground-state peak (mixture of 1(-) and 2(-) states) was found to be B-Lambda = 8.55 +/- 0.07(stat).
Journal ArticleDOI

Hypernuclear spectroscopy using the (e, e'K+) reaction

TL;DR: A pioneering experiment in {lambda} hypernuclear spectroscopy, undertaken at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (J Lab), was recently reported as mentioned in this paper, which used the high precision, continuous electron beam at JLab, and a special arrangement of spectrometer magnets to measure the hypernuclear spectrum from C and {sup 7}Li targets using the (e,e'K{sup +}) reaction.
