Design, Implementation, and in Vivo Validation of a Novel Proton FLASH Radiation Therapy System.

TL;DR: Using a novel RT apparatus that delivers FLASH proton RT (PRT) using double scattered protons with computed tomography guidance, it is found that FLASH-PRT decreases acute cell loss and late fibrosis after whole-abdomen and focal intestinal RT, whereas tumor growth inhibition is preserved between the 2 modalities.
Journal ArticleDOI

Charged pion form factor between Q2=0.60 and 2.45 GeV2. II. Determination of, and results for, the pion form factor

TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed description of the extraction of the charged pion form factor from electroproduction data obtained recently at Jefferson Lab is presented, with particular focus given to the dominant uncertainties in this procedure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurements of electron-proton elastic cross sections for 0.4 < Q(2) < 5.5 (GeV/c)(2)

M. E. Christy, +93 more
- 01 Jul 2004 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the elastic cross section for electron-proton scattering performed in Hall C at Jefferson Lab was measured at 28 distinct kinematic settings covering a range in momentum transfer of 0.4
