Journal ArticleDOI
Accumulation of sub-100 nm polymeric micelles in poorly permeable tumours depends on size
Horacio Cabral,Yu Matsumoto,Kazue Mizuno,Qixian Chen,Mami Murakami,M. Kimura,Yasuko Terada,Mitsunobu R. Kano,Kohei Miyazono,Mitsuru Uesaka,Nobuhiro Nishiyama,Kazunori Kataoka +11 more
TL;DR: It is shown that the penetration and efficacy of the larger micelles could be enhanced by using a transforming growth factor-β inhibitor to increase the permeability of the tumours.
Journal ArticleDOI
Radiation-Induced Acid Generation Reactions in Chemically Amplified Resists for Electron Beam and X-Ray Lithography
TL;DR: In this article, the radiation-induced reactions of onium salts in some kinds of solutions and model compound solutions of chemically amplified electron beam (EB) and X-ray resists have been studied by means of picosecond and nanosecond pulse radiolysis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Radiation damping effects on the interaction of ultraintense laser pulses with an overdense plasma.
TL;DR: The radiation damping may restrain the maximal energy of relativistic electrons in ultraintense-laser-produced plasmas and the radiation efficiency is shown to increase nonlinearly with laser intensity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Energetic protons from a few-micron metallic foil evaporated by an intense laser pulse.
Koji Matsukado,T. Esirkepov,Kenichi Kinoshita,Hiroyuki Daido,Takayuki Utsumi,Z. Li,A. Fukumi,Yukio Hayashi,S. Orimo,Mamiko Nishiuchi,Sergei V. Bulanov,Toshiki Tajima,Akira Noda,Yoshihisa Iwashita,T. Shirai,Takeshi Takeuchi,Shu Nakamura,Atsushi Yamazaki,M. Ikegami,T. Mihara,A. Morita,Mitsuru Uesaka,Koji Yoshii,T. Watanabe,Tomonao Hosokai,Alexei Zhidkov,A. Ogata,Yoshio Wada,Tetsuo Kubota +28 more
TL;DR: The multiparametric particle-in-cell simulations demonstrate that the main pulse generates the quasistatic magnetic field, which in its turn produces the long-lived charge separation electrostatic field, accelerating the ions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic field and force analysis of high T/sub c/ superconductor with flux flow and creep
TL;DR: In this article, a new method for the magnetic force analysis of a high T/sub c/superconductor based on the flux flow and creep model is described, which is considerably lower than that in the case of the conventional method.
