CAPS: a connectionist architecture for production systems
TL;DR: The CAPS architecture is tested by transforming small OPS5 programs into connectionist networks and simulating them on a connectionist simulator and it is demonstrated that connectionist architectures can perform rule-based symbolic reasoning and can support dynamic variable bindings.

Low-power radix 2 division algorithm with minimum add/sub operations
TL;DR: This paper presents a division algorithm which minimizes the number of add/sub operations by splitting a single iteration of the algorithm into two steps to reduce the clock period and make the execution time independent of quotient digits.
