Multi-Threshold CMOS Digital Circuits: Managing Leakage Power

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed an approach to minimize leakage power in embedded MTCMOS Combinational Circuits using sleep transistors using hybrid heuristics and a 2.5 Gbit/s 1:8 Demultiplexer.
Journal ArticleDOI

A 6-Bit 1.6-GS/ s Low-Power Wideband Flash ADC Converter in 0.13- $\mu$ m CMOS Technology

TL;DR: In this work, a new termination technique for the averaging network of the flash analog-to-digital converter (ADC) input preamplifiers is devised, which eliminates the over-range voltage headroom consumed by the dummy preemplifiers and therefore, the input capacitance and power dissipation of the ADC is reduced.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

VLSI design synthesis with testability

TL;DR: A VLSI design synthesis approach with testability, area, and delay constraints is presented and results show that the 'best' testable design solution is not always the same as that obtained from the ' best' design solution of an area and delay based synthesis search.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A comparison of CMOS implementations of an asynchronous circuits primitive: the C-element

TL;DR: It is shown that in a typical environment, Van Berkel's implementation is superior to the other implementations with respect to energy consumption and area, for the same delay.
