Tsubakihara, presents the Japanese guidelines, which replace the “2004 JSDT Guidelines for Renal Anemia in Chronic Hemodialysis Patients,” and contain new, additional guidelines for peritoneal dialysis, non‐dialysis (ND), and pediatric chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients.

Plasmapheresis as the sole therapy for rapidly progressive Henoch-Schönlein purpura nephritis in children

TL;DR: It is suggested that plasmapheresis as the sole therapy is effective in improving the prognosis of patients with rapidly progressive HSP nephritis, particularly if instituted early in the course of the disease.
