Genoppi: an open-source software for robust and standardized integration of proteomic and genetic data

TL;DR: The analyses indicate that human iPSC-derived neurons are a relevant model system for studying the involvement of TDP-43 and BCL2 in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and suggest that the neuron-specific interactions of these proteins are mediating their genetic involvement in neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative diseases.

Interaction studies of risk proteins in human induced neurons reveal convergent biology and novel mechanisms underlying autism spectrum disorders

TL;DR: In this paper, a protein-protein interaction network for 13 ASD risk genes in human excitatory neurons derived from iPS cells was built and the network contains many reproducible interactions not reported in the literature and is enriched for transcriptionally perturbed genes observed in layer 2/3 cortical neurons of ASD patients.
