Joint profiling of DNA methylation and chromatin architecture in single cells

TL;DR: Methyl-HiC combines the elucidation of chromatin architecture with the reading of DNA methylomes in pools and single cells and enables simultaneous characterization of cell-type-specific chromatin organization and epigenome in complex tissues.
Journal ArticleDOI

Promoter-proximal CTCF binding promotes distal enhancer-dependent gene activation

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of acute CTCF loss on chromatin architecture and transcriptional programs in mouse embryonic stem cells undergoing differentiation to neural precursor cells were investigated, and the results of their study showed that CTC binding to promoters may promote long-distance enhancer-dependent transcription at specific genes in diverse cell types.
Journal ArticleDOI

Performance characterization of the Inveon preclinical small-animal PET/SPECT/CT system for multimodality imaging

TL;DR: This integrated PET/SPECT/CT system showed high performance with excellent spatial resolution for SPECT and sensitivity for PET and complementary roles in multimodality small-animal imaging.
