A Key Role for NOX4 in Epithelial Cell Death During Development of Lung Fibrosis
Stephanie Carnesecchi,Christine Deffert,Yves Donati,Olivier Basset,Boris Hinz,Olivier Preynat-Seauve,Cécile Guichard,Jack L. Arbiser,Botond Banfi,Jean-Claude Pache,Constance Barazzone-Argiroffo,Karl-Heinz Krause +11 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that in lungs of patients with idiopathic lung fibrosis, there is strong expression of NOX4 in hyperplastic alveolar type II cells, and ROS generation by Nox4 is a key player in epithelial cell death leading to pulmonary fibrosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
The miR 302-367 cluster drastically affects self-renewal and infiltration properties of glioma-initiating cells through CXCR4 repression and consequent disruption of the SHH-GLI-NANOG network
Mohamed Fareh,Laurent Turchi,Virginie Virolle,David Debruyne,Fabien Almairac,S de-la-Forest Divonne,Philippe Paquis,Olivier Preynat-Seauve,K-H Krause,Hervé Chneiweiss,Thierry Virolle +10 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the miR-302-367 cluster is able to efficiently trigger a cascade of inhibitory events leading to the disruption of GiCs stem-like and tumorigenic properties.
Journal ArticleDOI
Glut3 Addiction Is a Druggable Vulnerability for a Molecularly Defined Subpopulation of Glioblastoma
Erika Cosset,Sten Ilmjärv,Valérie Dutoit,Kathryn C. Elliott,Tami von Schalscha,Maria F. Camargo,Alexander M. Reiss,Toshiro Moroishi,Laetitia Seguin,German G. Gomez,Jung Soon Moo,Olivier Preynat-Seauve,Karl-Heinz Krause,Hervé Chneiweiss,Jann N. Sarkaria,Kun-Liang Guan,Pierre-Yves Dietrich,Sara M. Weis,Paul S. Mischel,David A. Cheresh +19 more
TL;DR: A subset of tumors within the "proneural" and "classical" subtypes of glioblastoma are identified that are addicted to aberrant signaling from integrin αvβ3, which activates a PAK4-YAP/TAZ signaling axis to enhance Glut3 expression.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tumor-Infiltrating Dendritic Cells Are Potent Antigen-Presenting Cells Able to Activate T Cells and Mediate Tumor Rejection
Olivier Preynat-Seauve,Prisca Schuler,Emmanuel Contassot,Friedrich Beermann,Bertrand Huard,Lars E. French +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the status and function of tumor-infiltrating Dendritic Cells (TIDC) from several types of mouse melanoma were investigated in detail, and the TIDC markedly upregulated the expression of costimulatory molecules and also increased IL-12 production.
Journal ArticleDOI
Neural progenitors derived from human embryonic stem cells are targeted by allogeneic T and natural killer cells.
Olivier Preynat-Seauve,Casimir de Rham,Diderik Tirefort,Diderik Tirefort,Sylvie Ferrari-Lacraz,Karl-Heinz Krause,Karl-Heinz Krause,Jean Villard +7 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that allogenic transplantation of NPC in the central nervous system will most likely require an immunosuppressive regimen targeting allogenic T and NK cells, whereas possible interference with the differentiation of NPC needs to be carefully evaluated.
