A Key Role for NOX4 in Epithelial Cell Death During Development of Lung Fibrosis

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that in lungs of patients with idiopathic lung fibrosis, there is strong expression of NOX4 in hyperplastic alveolar type II cells, and ROS generation by Nox4 is a key player in epithelial cell death leading to pulmonary fibrosis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tumor-Infiltrating Dendritic Cells Are Potent Antigen-Presenting Cells Able to Activate T Cells and Mediate Tumor Rejection

TL;DR: In this paper, the status and function of tumor-infiltrating Dendritic Cells (TIDC) from several types of mouse melanoma were investigated in detail, and the TIDC markedly upregulated the expression of costimulatory molecules and also increased IL-12 production.
Journal ArticleDOI

Neural progenitors derived from human embryonic stem cells are targeted by allogeneic T and natural killer cells.

TL;DR: It is concluded that allogenic transplantation of NPC in the central nervous system will most likely require an immunosuppressive regimen targeting allogenic T and NK cells, whereas possible interference with the differentiation of NPC needs to be carefully evaluated.
