Journal ArticleDOI
Integrated analysis of somatic mutations and focal copy-number changes identifies key genes and pathways in hepatocellular carcinoma
Cécile Guichard,Giuliana Amaddeo,Giuliana Amaddeo,Sandrine Imbeaud,Sandrine Imbeaud,Yannick Ladeiro,Yannick Ladeiro,Laura Pelletier,Laura Pelletier,Ichrafe Ben Maad,Ichrafe Ben Maad,Julien Calderaro,Julien Calderaro,Paulette Bioulac-Sage,Mélanie Letexier,Françoise Degos,Bruno Clément,Charles Balabaud,Eric Chevet,Alexis Laurent,Gabrielle Couchy,Gabrielle Couchy,Eric Letouzé,Fabien Calvo,Jessica Zucman-Rossi,Jessica Zucman-Rossi +25 more
TL;DR: Functional analyses showed tumor suppressor properties for IRF2, whose inactivation, exclusively found in hepatitis B virus-related tumors, led to impaired TP53 function, and association of mutations in specific genes suggested that Wnt/β-catenin signaling might cooperate in liver carcinogenesis with both oxidative stress metabolism and Ras/mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathways.
Journal ArticleDOI
NAD(P)H Oxidase Nox-4 Mediates 7-Ketocholesterol-Induced Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress and Apoptosis in Human Aortic Smooth Muscle Cells
Eric Pedruzzi,Cécile Guichard,Véronique Ollivier,Fathi Driss,Michèle Fay,Céline Prunet,Jean-Claude Marie,Cécile Pouzet,Mohammad Samadi,Carole Elbim,Yvonne O'Dowd,Marcelle Bens,Alain Vandewalle,Marie-Anne Gougerot-Pocidalo,Gérard Lizard,Eric Ogier-Denis +15 more
TL;DR: It is shown that 7-ketocholesterol (7-Kchol) induces oxidative stress and/or apoptotic events in human aortic smooth muscle cells (SMCs), which is consistent with the hypothesis that Nox-4/oxysterols are involved in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of Restricted Subsets of Mature microRNA Abnormally Expressed in Inactive Colonic Mucosa of Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Magali Fasseu,Xavier Treton,Xavier Treton,Cécile Guichard,Cécile Guichard,Eric Pedruzzi,Eric Pedruzzi,Dominique Cazals-Hatem,Dominique Cazals-Hatem,Christophe Richard,Christophe Richard,Thomas Aparicio,Thomas Aparicio,Fanny Daniel,Fanny Daniel,Soulé Jc,Soulé Jc,Richard Moreau,Richard Moreau,Yoram Bouhnik,Yoram Bouhnik,Marc Laburthe,Marc Laburthe,André Groyer,André Groyer,Eric Ogier-Denis,Eric Ogier-Denis +26 more
TL;DR: This study supports miRNAs as crucial players in the onset and/or relapse of inflammation from quiescent mucosal tissues in IBD patients and suggests that some of the miRNA with altered expression in the quiescence mucosa of I BD patients may define miRNA signatures for UC and CD and help develop new diagnostic biomarkers.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Key Role for NOX4 in Epithelial Cell Death During Development of Lung Fibrosis
Stephanie Carnesecchi,Christine Deffert,Yves Donati,Olivier Basset,Boris Hinz,Olivier Preynat-Seauve,Cécile Guichard,Jack L. Arbiser,Botond Banfi,Jean-Claude Pache,Constance Barazzone-Argiroffo,Karl-Heinz Krause +11 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that in lungs of patients with idiopathic lung fibrosis, there is strong expression of NOX4 in hyperplastic alveolar type II cells, and ROS generation by Nox4 is a key player in epithelial cell death leading to pulmonary fibrosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
A new version of the grapevine reference genome assembly (12X.v2) and of its annotation (VCost.v3).
Aurélie Canaguier,Aurélie Canaguier,Jérôme Grimplet,G. Di Gaspero,Simone Scalabrin,Eric Duchêne,Nathalie Choisne,Nacer Mohellibi,Cécile Guichard,Cécile Guichard,Stephane Rombauts,I. Le Clainche,I. Le Clainche,Aurélie Bérard,A. Chauveau,Rémi Bounon,Rémi Bounon,C Rustenholz,Michele Morgante,M-C Le Paslier,Dominique Brunel,A-F Adam-Blondon,A-F Adam-Blondon +22 more
TL;DR: A new version of the grapevine reference genome assembly and of its annotation and its VCost.v3 gene annotation in Genbank format is presented.
