Comparison of RMS delay spread and decay time measured in reverberation chamber
Xiaoming Chen,Per-Simon Kildal +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the relation between RMS delay spread and decay time in reverberation chamber (RC) is derived and verified by measurements, and they propose decay time to be an alternative parameter for channel characterization in RC instead of RMS Delay Spread because it is easier to compute from measured S-parameters.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
100 GHz SOI gap waveguides
Sofia Rahiminejad,Astrid Algaba Brazalez,Hasan Raza,Elena Pucci,Sjoerd Haasl,Per-Simon Kildal,Peter Enoksson +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, two gap waveguide technologies, groove and ridge, are presented for F-band applications, which provide a more robust coupling to standard waveguides and high frequency probes.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Analysis of waveguide slot antennas with arbitrary finite outer cross-sections using a spectrum of cylindrical waves
TL;DR: In this paper, the cylindrical wave-spectrum method is used to determine the radiation pattern and self-admittance of a waveguide slot, where the region exterior to the waveguide may be a cylinear structure of any cross-sectional shape.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comments on "Application of double negative materials to increase the power radiated by electrically small antennas"
TL;DR: Ziolkowski and Kipple as discussed by the authors showed that the characterizing parameter "radiated power gain" is misleading and turns out to be a relative input resistance rather than a gain, and that the results of the commented paper are of no value for evaluating the performance of small antennas surrounded by double negative material.

Impact of the spatial user distribution on the coverage antenna pattern of Maximum Ratio Combining in Random Line-Of-Sight
Andres Alayon Glazunov,Per-Simon Kildal,Jan Carlsson,Madeleine Schilliger Kildal,Sadegh Mansouri +4 more
TL;DR: This paper presents simulation results in terms of the cumulative distribution functions corresponding to the resulting polarisation and pattern diversity of 1-bitstream and the corresponding coverage radiation pattern of the 4-port antenna system.
