Journal ArticleDOI
Ethylene Insertion in Tp‘Pt(Ph)(η2-CH2CH2) and C−H Activation of Ethylbenzene to Form a Platinum(IV) ortho-Metalated Phenethyl Complex
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that low-temperature protonation of the phenyl ethylene complex 5 results in the formation of a cationic η2-ethylene phenyl complex, [κ2-(HTp‘)Pt(C6H5)(η 2-CH2CH2)][BAr‘4]
Journal ArticleDOI
Crown-ether functionalised second coordination sphere palladium catalysts by molecular imprinting
TL;DR: In this paper, the second coordination sphere of a molecularly imprinted Pd complex was achieved by localising within the polymeric cavity a crown-ether receptor capable of altering the catalytic activity of the reactive site.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reaction of hydrazinium azide with sulfuric acid: The X-ray structure of [N2H6][SO4]
TL;DR: In this paper, the 14N NMR spectra of [N2H5][N3] and HN3 are reported and the structure of the hydrazinium(+2) sulfate and hydrazoic acid is determined at −100°C.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation and Characterization of Halogen-Boron-Phosphorus Compounds. X-ray Crystal Structures of X(3)B.P(SiMe(3))(3) and [X(2)BP(SiMe(3))(2)](2) (X = Cl, Br).
TL;DR: Thermal decomposition studies were performed on compounds 1-4, yielding colored powders with boron:phosphorus ratios greater than 1:1 and significant C and H contamination indicated by elemental analyses.
