Phytogeographical and community similarities of alpine tundras of Changbaishan Summit, China, and Indian Peaks, USA

TL;DR: The authors compared the diversity, phytogeography, and plant communities in two mid-latitude alpine tundras with comparable aerial and elevational extents: Changbaishan Summit in eastern Asia and Indian Peaks in western North America.
Journal ArticleDOI

Role of coordination geometry in dictating the barrier to hydride migration in d6 square-pyramidal iridium and rhodium pincer complexes.

TL;DR: The NMR exchange data established that hydride migration in the propylene complexes yields exclusively the primary alkyl intermediate arising from 1,2-insertion, and no averaging of the top and bottom faces of the square-pyramidal complexes is observed in the NMR spectra at high temperatures, indicating that the barrier for facial equilibration is >20 kcal/mol for both the Ir and Rh complexes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Conversion of Tungsten(IV) Oxo−Alkyne Complexes to Oxo−Vinylidene Complexes

TL;DR: A series of chiral tungsten(IV) oxo−alkyne complexes of the type TpW(O)(I)(RC⋮CR‘) (R = R‘ = H (1); R = H, R' = Me (2), R = R´ = ME (3); R= Me, R` = Ph (4); Tpw(O) = hydridotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borate) has been prepared.
