Progress, opportunity, and perspective on exosome isolation - efforts for efficient exosome-based theranostics.
Dongbin Yang,Weihong Zhang,Huanyun Zhang,Fengqiu Zhang,Lanmei Chen,Lixia Ma,Leon M Larcher,Suxiang Chen,Nan Liu,Qingxia Zhao,Phuong H.L. Tran,Changying Chen,Rakesh N. Veedu,Tao Wang,Tao Wang +14 more
TL;DR: A panoramic view of current exosome isolation techniques is provided, providing perspectives toward the development of novel approaches for high-efficient exosomes isolation from various types of biological matrices.
Journal ArticleDOI
Modulation of microenvironmental pH and crystallinity of ionizable telmisartan using alkalizers in solid dispersions for controlled release
TL;DR: It was evident that the alkalizers in PEG 6000 based SDs synergistically enhanced dissolution of TEL not only by modulating pH(M) but also by changing drug crystallinity to an amorphous form via molecular interactions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Superior Performance of Aptamer in Tumor Penetration over Antibody: Implication of Aptamer-Based Theranostics in Solid Tumors
Dongxi Xiang,Conglong Zheng,Shu-Feng Zhou,Shuxi Qiao,Phuong H.L. Tran,Chunwen Pu,Yong Li,Lingxue Kong,Abbas Z. Kouzani,Jia Lin,Ke Liu,Lianhong Li,Sarah Shigdar,Wei Duan +13 more
TL;DR: Comprehensive data indicate that aptmers are superior to antibodies in cancer theranostics due to their better tumor penetration, more homogeneous distribution and longer retention in tumor sites, and aptamers are promising agents for targeted tumor therapeutics and molecular imaging.
Journal ArticleDOI
Exosomes and Nanoengineering: A Match Made for Precision Therapeutics.
Phuong H.L. Tran,Dongxi Xiang,Thao T.D. Tran,Wang Yin,Yumei Zhang,Lingxue Kong,Kuisheng Chen,Miaomiao Sun,Yong Li,Yingchun Hou,Yimin Zhu,Wei Duan +11 more
TL;DR: Recent advances in targeted exosomal delivery systems engineered by aptamer for future strategies to promote human health using this class of human‐derived nanovesicles are summarized.
Journal ArticleDOI
Controlled Release Systems Containing Solid Dispersions: Strategies and Mechanisms
TL;DR: This review aims to summarize all currently known aspects of controlled release systems containing solid dispersions, focusing on the preparation methods, mechanisms of action and characterization of physicochemical properties of the system.
