TL;DR: It is demonstrated that phosphorylation of cortactin by AKT1 is important for mutant PI3K enhanced cell migration and invasion through mutagenesis studies, and a quantitative and global approach is described for identifying mutation-specific signaling events and for discovering novel signaling molecules as readouts of pathway activation or potential therapeutic targets.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electromagnetic Metamaterials: A New Paradigm of Antenna Design
TL;DR: In this paper, the electromagnetics of MTM with analytical expressions and its application in antenna design are discussed in detail, and the recent development in MTM-inspired antenna and its applications in antenna miniaturization, enhancing gain and bandwidth, achieving CP and mutual coupling suppression in MIMO antenna systems are discussed to make it useful for further research.
Journal ArticleDOI
Emerging Importance of Survivin in Stem Cells and Cancer: the Development of New Cancer Therapeutics
TL;DR: The expression of survivin in normal and cancer cells is analyzed with a particular focus on its expression in cancer stem cell compartment and the challenges involving the development of potent and specific survivin inhibitors for cancer therapeutics are discussed.
A Dynamic Transform Noise Resistant Uniform Local Binary Pattern (DTNR-ULBP) for Age Classification
Praveen Kumar,V. Venkata Krishna +1 more
TL;DR: The present paper proposes Dynamic transform noise resistant ULBP (DTNR-ULBP), which overcomes the noise effect and improves overall age classification rate, and it is tested on FG-NET aging database.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Development of Hybrid Energy Storage System for DC Motor Powered Electric Vehicles
TL;DR: In this paper hybrid energy source support for electric vehicle is brought out which will lower the burden on one source supply fully to the vehicle and help the life of the sources to prolong in a long run.
