Jitka Seidlerová,Jan Filipovský,Otto Mayer,Renata Cifkova,Martin Pesta,Radek Blatný,Jiří Vaněk +6 more
TL;DR: This is the first study to explore the association of rs3918226 polymorphism in eNOS gene with arterial properties and hypothesize that genetic modulation of intermediate arterial phenotypes might lead to higher blood pressure.

Journal Article
The heart in hypertension and arrhythmias.
Widimský J,Renata Cifkova +1 more
TL;DR: 24-hour ambulatory electrocardiographic monitoring demonstrated a higher frequency of ventricular ectopic beats in hypertensive patients taking thiazides, which could provide an electrophysiologic substrate for the epidemiologic findings of increased morbidity and mortality in patients with left ventricular hypertrophy.
