GPS phase scintillation and proxy index at high latitudes during a moderate geomagnetic storm

TL;DR: In this paper, the amplitude and phase scintillation indices are customarily obtained by specialised GPS Ionospheric Scintillation and TEC Monitors (GISTMs) from L1 signal recorded at the rate of 50 Hz.
Journal ArticleDOI

Developing a GPS TEC mapping service over Canada

TL;DR: A process has been developed to routinely map total electron content (TEC) estimated from GPS observations over Canada, which implements spherical cap harmonic analysis to interpolate vertical estimates on a standardized mapping grid that can be compared with other types of data to understand the evolution of processes in the ionosphere.
Journal ArticleDOI

GPS phase difference variation statistics: A comparison between phase scintillation index and proxy indices

TL;DR: In this paper, collocated geodetic and scintillation receivers are employed to compare proxy indices derived from geo-located GPS receivers with the phase-scintillation index during quiet and moderately disturbed ionospheric conditions.
