Sparse canonical correlation analysis, with applications to genomic data

TL;DR: This paper develops sparse multiple CCA, an extension to sparse CCA which results in the identification of linear combinations of the two sets of variables that are correlated with each other and associated with the outcome, and demonstrates these new methods on simulated data and on a recently published and publicly available diffuse large B-cell lymphoma data set.

Pancreatic Cancer Surgical Resection Margins: Molecular Assessment by Mass Spectrometry Imaging

TL;DR: Evidence is provided that the molecular information obtained by DESI-MSI/Lasso from pancreatic tissue samples has the potential to transform the evaluation of surgical specimens, and the described methodology could be routinely used for intraoperative surgical margin assessment of pancreatic cancer.

Uniform Asymptotic Inference and the Bootstrap After Model Selection

TL;DR: The large sample properties of this method, without assuming normality, are studied, and it is proved that the test statistic of Tibshirani et al. (2016) is asymptotically valid, as the number of samples n grows and the dimension d of the regression problem stays fixed.
