1195ofinal results of the sakk 16/00 trial: a randomized phase iii trial comparing neoadjuvant chemoradiation to chemotherapy alone in stage iiia/n2 non-small cell lung cancer (nsclc)
Miklos Pless,Roger Stupp,Hans-Beat Ris,Rolf A. Stahel,Walter Weder,Sandra Thierstein,A. Xyrafas,Martin Früh,Richard Cathomas,Alfred Zippelius,A. Roth,Adrian F. Ochsenbein,Urs R. Meier,Christoph Mamot,Dieter Rauch,O. Gautschi,M. Gerard,Daniel C. Betticher,R.O. Mirimanoff,Solange Peters +19 more
TL;DR: This is the first completed phase III trial to evaluate the role of induction chemoradiotherapy and surgery, in comparison to neoadjuvant CT alone followed by surgery, and the overall survival rates are very encouraging, especially for a multicenter setting.
Journal ArticleDOI
Neuro-oncology: in search of molecular markers of glioma in elderly patients.
Monika E. Hegi,Roger Stupp +1 more
TL;DR: In a new study, researchers have investigated molecular markers of glioma specifically in elderly patients—are these markers of clinical use?
Journal ArticleDOI
Antegrade Versus Retrograde Isolated Lung Perfusion: Doxorubicin Uptake and Distribution in a Sarcoma Model
Thorsten Krueger,Andrea Kuemmerle,Snezana Andrejevic-Blant,Hua Yan,Youmin Pan,Jean Pierre Ballini,Walter Klepetko,Laurent A. Decosterd,Roger Stupp,Hans-Beat Ris +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compared antegrade and retrograde doxorubicin-based isolated lung perfusions in rodents bearing a sarcomatous tumor in the perfused lung.
Journal ArticleDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
Efficacy of vinorelbine plus G-CSF for CD34+ hematopoietic progenitor cell mobilization in patients with multiple myeloma
Panagiotis Samaras,Sarah Pfrommer,Burkhardt Seifert,Ulf Petrausch,Axel Mischo,Adrian Schmidt,Urs Schanz,Gayathri Nair,Mario Bargetzi,Christian Taverna,Roger Stupp,Frank Stenner-Liewen,Christoph Renner +12 more
TL;DR: Vinorelbine plus G-CSF enables a very reliable prediction of the timing of leukapheresis and results in successful HPC collection in 95% of the patients, and patient age and prior exposition to lenalidomide were independent risk factors for a lower HPC amount collected in multiple regression analysis.
