Journal ArticleDOI
Aberrant Lck Signal via CD28 Costimulation Augments Antigen-Specific Functionality and Tumor Control by Redirected T Cells with PD-1 Blockade in Humanized Mice.
Pratiksha Gulati,Julia Rühl,Abhilash Kannan,Magdalena Pircher,Petra C Schuberth,Katarzyna J. Nytko,Martin Pruschy,Simon Sulser,Mark D Haefner,Shawn M. Jensen,Alex Soltermann,Wolfgang Jungraithmayr,Maya Eisenring,Thomas Winder,Panagiotis Samaras,Annett Tabor,Rene Stenger,Roger Stupp,Walter Weder,Christoph Renner,Christian Münz,Ulf Petrausch +21 more
TL;DR: Overall, anti-FAP-Δ-CD28/CD3ζ CAR T cells revealed superior in vitro functionality, better tumor control in combination with PD-1 blockade in humanized mice, and persistence up to 21 days in a patient with MPM.
Journal ArticleDOI
5-Fluorouracil as protracted continuous intravenous infusion can be added to full-dose docetaxel (Taxotere®)–cisplatin in advanced gastric carcinoma: a phase I–II trial
Arnaud Roth,Rudolf Maibach,Nicola Fazio,Cristiana Sessa,Roger Stupp,R. Morant,Richard Herrmann,Markus Borner,A. Goldhirsch,F. de Braud +9 more
TL;DR: A phase I-II multicenter trial to define the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of a combination of 5-fluorouracil in protracted continuous intravenous infusion with docetaxel and cisplatin for patients with advanced gastric cancer observed one complete and 20 partial responses for an overall intent-to-treat response rate of 51% (95% confidence interval 35-67%).
Journal ArticleDOI
Listeria brain abscess, Pneumocystis pneumonia and Kaposi's sarcoma after temozolomide.
Vincent Ganière,Grégoire Christen,Frank Bally,Louis Guillou,Alessia Pica,Sandrine de Ribaupierre,Roger Stupp +6 more
TL;DR: Severe temozolomide-induced immunosuppression, exacerbated by corticosteroids, with profound T-cell lymphocytopenia and simultaneous opportunistic infections with Pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia, brain abscess with Listeria monocytogenes, and cutaneous Kaposi's sarcoma is diagnosed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adjuvant dibromodulcitol and BCNU chemotherapy in anaplastic astrocytoma: Results of a randomised European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer phase III study (EORTC study 26882)
Jerzy Hildebrand,Thierry Gorlia,Johan M. Kros,D Afra,Marc Frenay,Antonio A. Omuro,Roger Stupp,Denis Lacombe,Anouk Allgeier,Martin M. J. van den Bent +9 more
TL;DR: No statistically significant improvement in survival was observed after BCNU/DBD adjuvant chemotherapy in AA patients and the trend towards improved survival is consistent with previous reports.
Journal ArticleDOI
Temozolomide chemotherapy versus radiotherapy in molecularly characterized (1p loss) low-grade glioma: A randomized phase III intergroup study by the EORTC/NCIC-CTG/TROG/MRC-CTU (EORTC 22033-26033).
Brigitta G. Baumert,Warren P. Mason,Gail Ryan,Jacoline E C Bromberg,Martin J. van den Bent,Khê Hoang-Xuan,Alba A. Brandes,Guy Kantor,Martin J B Taphoorn,Mohamed Ben Hassel,Jeremy Rees,Wolfgang Wick,Andreas von Deimling,Christian Hartmann,Johan M. Kros,Monika E. Hegi,Nicolas Dif,Denis Lacombe,Thierry Gorlia,Roger Stupp +19 more
TL;DR: 1p deletion was a positive prognostic factor irrespective of treatment (p-value stratified by treatment), and PFS was not significantly different, median OS not reached.
