Journal ArticleDOI
Cation assisted binding and cleavage of dinitrogen by uranium complexes
Nadir Jori,Thayalan Rajeshkumar,Rosario Scopelliti,Ivica Z Ivković,Andrzej Sienkiewicz,Laurent Maron,Marinella Mazzanti +6 more
TL;DR: The role of alkali promoters in N2 cleavage by metal complexes remains poorly understood despite its relevance to the industrial production of ammonia from N2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Crystallization and Organic Field-Effect Transistor Performance of a Hydrogen-Bonded Quaterthiophene
Jan Gebers,Bilal Özen,Lucia Hartmann,Michel Schaer,Stéphane Suárez,Philippe Bugnon,Rosario Scopelliti,Hans-Georg Steinrück,Hans-Georg Steinrück,Oleg Konovalov,Andreas Magerl,Martin Brinkmann,Riccardo Petraglia,Piotr de Silva,Piotr de Silva,Clémence Corminboeuf,Holger Frauenrath +16 more
TL;DR: It is reported that hydrogen-bonded substituents serve as additional structure-directing elements that positively affect crystallization, thin film morphology, and device performance of p-type organic semiconductors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nitride Protonation and NH3 Binding versus N‒H Bond Cleavage in Uranium Nitrides
TL;DR: In this article, a comparative study of the reactions of H+ and NH3 with uranium nitrides, containing different types of ancillary ligands, has been conducted, showing that the differences in ancillaries, leading to dramatically different reactivity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structure and Reactivity of N-Heterocyclic Alkynyl Hypervalent Iodine Reagents
Eliott Le Du,Thibaut Duhail,Matthew D. Wodrich,Rosario Scopelliti,Farzaneh Fadaei-Tirani,Elsa Anselmi,Elsa Anselmi,Emmanuel Magnier,Jerome Waser +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis of new N-heterocyclic hypervalent iodine reagents with increased structural flexibility based on amide, amidine and sulfoximine scaffolds is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hexayne Amphiphiles and Bolaamphiphiles.
TL;DR: This work reports a universal synthetic approach towards both symmetric and unsymmetric functionalized hexaynes through the use of a modified Eglinton-Galbraith coupling and a sacrificial building block and demonstrates the versatility of this approach by preparing hexayne functionalized with phosphonic acid, carboxylic acid, ammonium, or thiol head groups.
