TL;DR: The data demonstrate that freshly purified allogeneic NK cells can recognize and kill colorectal carcinoma–derived CICs whereas the non-CIC counterpart of the tumors (differentiated tumor cells), either autologous or allogenicic, is less susceptible to NK cells.
