A 10-Gb/s 5-Tap DFE/4-Tap FFE Transceiver in 90-nm CMOS Technology
John F. Bulzacchelli,Mounir Meghelli,Sergey V. Rylov,Woogeun Rhee,Alexander V. Rylyakov,Herschel A. Ainspan,Ben Parker,Michael P. Beakes,Aichin Chung,Troy J. Beukema,Petar Pepeljugoski,Lei Shan,Young H. Kwark,S. Gowda,Daniel J. Friedman +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a 90-nm CMOS 10-Gb/s transceiver for chip-to-chip communications is presented, where a 5-tap decision feedback equalizer is included in the receiver and a 4-tap baud-spaced feed-forward equalizer (FFE) in the transmitter.

Correlated double sampling with up/down counter
TL;DR: In this article, a correlated double sampling (CDS) circuit is proposed, where a plurality of up/down counters are coupled to respective ones of the comparators, and each is operable to count in a first direction during the first sampling interval and in an opposite direction during a second sampling interval.
Journal ArticleDOI
Integrated transversal equalizers in high-speed fiber-optic systems
Hui Wu,Jose A. Tierno,Petar Pepeljugoski,Jeremy D. Schaub,S. Gowda,Jeffrey A. Kash,Ali Hajimiri +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a seven-tap distributed transversal equalizer prototype has been implemented in a commercial 0.18/spl mu/m SiGe BiCMOS process for 10-Gb/s multimode fiber-optic links.
Journal ArticleDOI
Technology development of a high-density 32-channel 16-Gb/s optical data link for optical interconnection applications for the optoelectronic technology consortium (OETC)
Yiu-Man Wong,D.J. Muehlner,C.C. Faudskar,D.B. Buchholz,M. Fishteyn,J.L. Brandner,W.J. Parzygnat,R.A. Morgan,T. Mullally,R.E. Leibenguth,G. Guth,M.W. Focht,K.G. Glogovsky,J.L. Zilko,J.V. Gates,P.J.
