TL;DR: The Atmospheric Chemistry Suite (ACS) as discussed by the authors is an element of the Russian contribution to the ESA-Roscosmos ExoMars 2016 Trace Gas Orbiter (TGO) mission.
Journal ArticleDOI
Vertical and meridional distribution of ethane, acetylene and propane in Saturn's stratosphere from CIRS/Cassini limb observations
TL;DR: Fletcher et al. as mentioned in this paper measured the spatial distribution of chemical compounds in the stratosphere of Saturn's stratosphere using infrared spectra acquired in limb geometry by the Cassini spacecraft between March 2005 and January 2008.
Journal ArticleDOI
Seasonal change on Saturn from Cassini/CIRS observations, 2004–2009
Leigh N. Fletcher,Leigh N. Fletcher,Richard K. Achterberg,Thomas K. Greathouse,Glenn S. Orton,Barney J. Conrath,Amy A. Simon-Miller,Nicholas A Teanby,Sandrine Guerlet,Patrick G. J. Irwin,F. M. Flasar +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, five years of thermal infrared spectra from the Cassini Composite Infrared Spectrometer (CIRS) were analyzed to determine the response of Saturn's atmosphere to seasonal changes in insolation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evidence for anomalous cloud particles at the poles of Venus
Colin Wilson,Sandrine Guerlet,Pgj Irwin,Constantine Tsang,Fredric W. Taylor,Robert W. Carlson,P. Drossart,Giuseppe Piccioni +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, an analysis of near-infrared emissions on the nightside of Venus observed by the VISible and Infrared Thermal Imaging Spectrometer (VIRTIS) instrument on board Venus Express reveals anomalous cloud particles in the polar regions of Venus.
Journal ArticleDOI
Global climate modeling of Saturn’s atmosphere. Part I: Evaluation of the radiative transfer model
Sandrine Guerlet,Aymeric Spiga,Melody Sylvestre,Melody Sylvestre,Melody Sylvestre,Mikel Indurain,Thierry Fouchet,Jérémy Leconte,Ehouarn Millour,Robin Wordsworth,Michel Capderou,Bruno Bézard,François Forget +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, a seasonal, radiative-convective model of the upper troposphere and stratosphere of the planet Saturn was developed and optimized to investigate its radiatively-forced thermal structure between 3 and 10 −6 ǫ bar.
