Solid state and solution features of amylose and amylosic fragments

Serge Pérez, +1 more
- 01 Feb 1987 -
TL;DR: In this paper, four stable families of low energy conformers are found; three correspond to conformations observed in linear and cyclic maltodextrins in the crystalline state.
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystalline features of 4,4'-isopropylidenediphenylbis(phenyl carbonate) and conformational analysis of the polycarbonate of 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane

TL;DR: Structure cristalline de l'analogue structural du poly(oxycarbonyloxy phenylene isopropylidene-1,4 phenylene-1.4) (polycarbonate du bisphenol A)
Journal ArticleDOI

Internal motions and hydration of sucrose in a diluted water solution.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the hydration structure and the internal and overall motions of sucrose compare extremely well with NMR data such as glycosidic heteronuclear coupling constants and the molecular tumbling time, with X-ray data of two partially hydrated sucrose structures in a protein complex and with translational diffusion coefficients and hydration numbers established from experimental studies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Internal motions of carbohydrates as probed by comparative molecular modeling and nuclear magnetic resonance of ethyl beta -lactoside

TL;DR: It has been shown that the motional model established from NOesY data is analogous to the one obtained from molecular dynamics simulations, and the quality of the fit for the NOESY data varies with the force fields and corroborates the classification obtained from heteronuclear coupling.
