Merlin,Sonia Fornasier,Jean-Michel Reess,P. Bernardi,Shigeru Imai,Yasuyuki Ito,Hatsumi Ishida,Kiyoshi Kuramoto,Yasuhiro Kawakatsu +48 more
TL;DR: The Phobos observations during the first 1.5 years of the 76 spacecraft's stay around Mars, and the Deimos observations before leaving the Martian 77 system are described.

The CONSERT operations planning process for the Rosetta mission
Yves Rogez,Yves Rogez,Pascal Puget,Pascal Puget,Sonia Zine,Sonia Zine,Alain Herique,Alain Herique,Wlodek Kofman,Wlodek Kofman,Nicolas Altobelli,Mike Ashman,M. Barthelemy,Jens Biele,Alejandro Blazquez,Carlos M. Casas,Marc Costa Sitjà,Cedric Delmas,Cinzia Fantinati,Jean-François Fronton,Bernhard Geiger,Koen Geurts,B. TL;DR: The methods and tools developed, in close collaboration with the mission and the science operation teams for both Rosetta and Philae, to identify, rank and plan the operations for CONSERT science measurements could be applied to other missions involving joint operations between two platforms, on a complex shaped object.
Journal ArticleDOI
The search campaign to identify and image the Philae Lander on the surface of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko
Laurence O'Rourke,Cecilia Tubiana,Carsten Güttler,S. Lodiot,P. Muñoz,Alain Herique,Yves Rogez,Joelle Durand,Antoine Charpentier,Holger Sierks,P. Gutierrez-Marques,Jakob Deller,B. Grieger,R. Companys,J. P. Bibring,Wlodek Kofman,S. Mckenna Lawlor,Mario Salatti,Philippe Gaudon +32 more
TL;DR: On the 12th of November 2014, the Rosetta Philae Lander descended to make the first soft touchdown on the surface of a comet as mentioned in this paper, but due to the failure in the firing of its two harpoons, Philae bounced and travelled across the comet making contact with the surface twice more before finally landing in a shaded rocky location on the southern hemisphere of the comet.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Small spacecraft in small solar system body applications
Jan Thimo Grundmann,Jan-Gerd Meb,Jens Biele,Patric Seefeldt,Bernd Dachwald,Peter Spietz,Christian Grimm,Tom Spröwitz,Caroline Lange,Stephan Ulamec +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a concurrent design and engineering (CD/CE) method was introduced for concurrent assembly, integration, verification and verification (CAIV) of small solar system bodies.
