Cataclysmic variables from the sloan digital sky survey. viii. the final year (2007–2008)*
Paula Szkody,Scott F. Anderson,K. Brooks,Boris T. Gänsicke,Martin Kronberg,Thomas Riecken,Nicholas P. Ross,Gary D. Schmidt,Donald P. Schneider,Marcel A. Agüeros,Ada Nebot Gomez-Moran,Ada Nebot Gomez-Moran,Gillian R. Knapp,Matthias R. Schreiber,Axel Schwope +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, the coordinates, magnitudes, and spectra of 33 CVs from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) I/II were presented, including eight systems known prior to SDSS (CT Ser, DO Leo, HK Leo, IR Com, V849 Her, V405 Peg, PG1230+226, and HS0943+1404) and nine objects recently found through various photometric surveys.

TL;DR: In this paper, coordinates, magnitudes, and spectra are presented for 39 cataclysmic variables (CVs) found in Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) spectra that were primarily obtained in 2006.

Measuring the evolutionary rate of cooling of ZZ Ceti
Anjum S. Mukadam,Anjum S. Mukadam,Agnès Bischoff-Kim,Oliver J. Fraser,Oliver J. Fraser,Alejandro H. Córsico,Michael H. Montgomery,Souza Oliveira Kepler,Alejandra D. Romero,Donald E Winget,J. J. Shipman,Susan E. Thompson,Nicole M. Silvestri,Nicole M. Silvestri,Robert I. Hynes +27 more
TL;DR: In this article, the evolutionary rate of cooling of the pulsating hydrogen atmosphere (DA) white dwarf ZZ Ceti (Ross-548), as reflected by the drift rate of the 213.13260694s period, was determined.
Journal ArticleDOI
Discovery of a Nova-like Cataclysmic Variable in the Kepler Mission Field
Kurtis A. Williams,D. de Martino,Roberto Silvotti,Ivan Bruni,Patrick Dufour,Thomas Riecken,Martin Kronberg,Anjum S. Mukadam,Gerald Handler +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new cataclysmic variable (CV) star in the field of the Kepler Mission, KIC J192410.81+445934.9, was identified during a search for compact pulsators in the Kepler field.
