Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of analogs of juvenile hormone on the basis of the telomerization reaction of piperylene with sulfones

TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis of compounds having juvenile hormone activity was shown to be possible on the basis of the telomers of piperylene, and the catalytic telomerization of the cis and trans isomers with sulfones containing an available hydrogen atom was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Design of Schiff base-like postmetallocene catalytic systems for polymerization of olefins: V. Synthesis of salicylaldehyde imine ligands containing cycloalkyl substituents

TL;DR: This article showed that substituted cycloalkylanilines with salicylaldehyde gave a series of corresponding Schiff bases as ligands for titanium(IV) complexes in the presence of formic acid.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of 5-hydroxy-1,3-benzoxathiol-2-one and 2-amino-1,3-benzothiazol-6-ol derivatives from chrysenequinonecarboxylic acid

TL;DR: Diterpenoid 5-hydroxy and 1,3-benzoxathiol-2-one derivatives were synthesized by reaction of methyl chrysenequinonecarboxylate with thiourea as discussed by the authors.
