Preparation of 1-aminomethylenemercapto derivatives of 2, 4, 6, 8-tetrathiaadamantane and adamantane
TL;DR: Aminomethylenemercapto derivatives of 3, 5, 7, 9, 9-pentamethyl-2, 4, 6, 8-tetrathiaadamantane-l-thiol and adamantane-1.
Journal ArticleDOI
Insect pheromones and their analogs. XII. Synthesis of the isomeric dec-5-enyl acetates — The sex pheromones ofAnarsia lineatella andAgrotis segetum
TL;DR: In this paper, a two-stage hydroxyethylation of hex-1-yne using 2-chloroethyl vinyl ethers and ethylene oxide was proposed for the synthesis of dec-5E-and -5Z-enyl acetates.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of linear polyenoic acids by reaction of sulfones with butadiene, catalyzed by palladium complexes
TL;DR: In this article, a method was developed for obtaining the methyl esters of polyunsaturated carboxylic acids by the cleavage of arylβ-carbomethoxy-β'-mono- and bis-2,7-octadienylmethyl sulfones using either Na/Hg or EtONa.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hexa-O-acetyl-D-gentiobial in Enantioselective Synthesis of Lysocerebrosides and Their Conjugates.
TL;DR: Hexa-O -acetyl-D-gentiobial 1 and its decyclization product (2 E,4 S,5 R )-4-acetoxy-5-hydroxy-6-(2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl)-β-d-gluco-pyranosyloxy)hex-2-enal 2 have been used to synthesize O -glycosylated aminodiols 9, 10, 15 that model the structure of natural lysocereb
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of unsaturated amines by the reaction of butadiene with primary amines in the presence of palladium complexes
TL;DR: In this article, three and four-component palladium-containing catalysts have been developed for the amination of butadiene with benzylamine, giving 1,7-octadienylbenzylamines, 2,7 -octadiene-benzylbenzine, and bis (2.7-ocdadienyl) benzine in high yields.
