cGAS-STING, an important pathway in cancer immunotherapy
Minlin Jiang,Peixin Chen,Lei Wang,Wei Li,Bin Chen,Yu Liu,Hao Wang,Sha Zhao,Lingyun Ye,Yayi He,Caicun Zhou +10 more
TL;DR: The biological characters, current applications, challenges, and future directions of cGAS-STING in cancer immunotherapy are examined.
Journal ArticleDOI
Caloric Restriction Reprograms the Single-Cell Transcriptional Landscape of Rattus Norvegicus Aging.
Shuai Ma,Shuhui Sun,Lingling Geng,Lingling Geng,Moshi Song,Wei Wang,Yanxia Ye,Qianzhao Ji,Zhiran Zou,Si Wang,Si Wang,Xiaojuan He,Wei Li,Concepcion Rodriguez Esteban,Xiao Long,Guoji Guo,Piu Chan,Qi Zhou,Juan Carlos Izpisua Belmonte,Weiqi Zhang,Jing Qu,Guang-Hui Liu +21 more
TL;DR: This work builds comprehensive single-cell and single-nucleus transcriptomic atlases across various rat tissues undergoing aging and CR, enhances the understanding of the robustness of CR as a geroprotective intervention, and uncovers how metabolic intervention can act upon the immune system to modify the process of aging.
Journal ArticleDOI
Obesity-associated NLRC4 inflammasome activation drives breast cancer progression.
Ryan Kolb,Liem Phan,Liem Phan,Nicholas Borcherding,Yinghong Liu,Fang Yuan,Ann M. Janowski,Qing Xie,Kathleen R. Markan,Wei Li,Matthew J. Potthoff,Enrique Fuentes-Mattei,Lesley G. Ellies,C. Michael Knudson,Mong Hong Lee,Sai Ching J. Yeung,Sai Ching J. Yeung,Suzanne L. Cassel,Suzanne L. Cassel,Fayyaz S. Sutterwala,Fayyaz S. Sutterwala,Weizhou Zhang +21 more
TL;DR: A causal mechanism by which obesity promotes breast cancer progression is provided and a foundation to block NLRC4 inflammasome activation or IL-1β signalling transduction is laid out that may be useful for the treatment of obese cancer patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
Antibiotics are associated with attenuated efficacy of anti-PD-1/PD-L1 therapies in Chinese patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
Sha Zhao,Guanghui Gao,Wei Li,Xuefei Li,Chao Zhao,Tao Jiang,Yijun Jia,Yayi He,Aiwu Li,Chunxia Su,Shengxiang Ren,Xiaoxia Chen,Caicun Zhou +12 more
TL;DR: Abx treatment was significantly associated with attenuated clinical outcomes derived from anti-PD-1-based ICIs in a Chinese cohort of patients with advanced NSCLC.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combination of quercetin and hyperoside has anticancer effects on renal cancer cells through inhibition of oncogenic microRNA-27a.
TL;DR: Quercetin and hyperoside in combination have been shown to inhibit the growth of human leukemia cells and interactions between QH and the miR-27a-ZBTB10 axis play a role in Sp downregulation, consistent with previous studies on botanical anticancer agents in colon cancer cells.
