Inhibiting membrane rupture with NINJ1 antibodies limits tissue injury
Nobuhiko Kayagaki,Irma B. Stowe,Kamela O. Alegre,Ishan Deshpande,Shuang Wu,Zhonghua Lin,Opher S. Kornfeld,Bettina L. Lee,Juan Zhang,John Liu,Eric Suto,Wyne P. Lee,Kellen Schneider,Wei Yu Lin,Dhaya Seshasayee,Tushar Bhangale,Cecile Chalouni,Matthew C. Johnson,Jan Mossemann,Neil A. Goldenberg,Blayne A. Sayed,Benjamin E. Steinberg,Kim Newton,Joshua D. Webster,Ryan L. Kelly,Vishva M. Dixit +25 more
TL;DR: In this paper , an anti-NINJ1 monoclonal antibody was developed to prevent NINJ 1 from forming oligomeric filaments, which may limit the inflammation that is associated with excessive cell death.
Journal ArticleDOI
Neutrophil serine protease 4 is required for mast cell-dependent vascular leakage.
Andrew P. AhYoung,Sterling C Eckard,Alvin Gogineni,Hongkang Xi,S. Jack Lin,Stefan Gerhardy,Christian Cox,Qui T. Phung,Jason A. Hackney,Anand Kumar Katakam,Mike Reichelt,Patrick Caplazi,Paolo Manzanillo,Juan Zhang,Merone Roose-Girma,Lucinda W Tam,Robert J. Newman,Aditya Murthy,Robby M. Weimer,Jennie R. Lill,Wyne P. Lee,Michele A. Grimbaldeston,Daniel Kirchhofer,Menno Van Lookeren Campagne +23 more
TL;DR: It is shown that expression of Neutrophil Serine Protease 4 during the early stages of mast cell development regulates the levels of histamine and serotonin in mast cell granules, which impacts mast cell-dependent vascular leakage in mouse models of immune complex-mediated diseases.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dual antibody inhibition of KLK5 and KLK7 for Netherton syndrome and atopic dermatitis
Joseph Chavarría-Smith,Cecilia Chiu,Janet Jackman,Jianping Yin,Jun Zhang,Jason A. Hackney,Wei Lin,Tulika Tyagi,Yonglian Sun,Janet Tao,Debra Y. Dunlap,William D. Morton,Swapnil V. Ghodge,Henry R. Austin,Wyne P. Lee,Robert A. Lazarus,Jawahar Sudhamsu,James T. Koerber,Tangsheng Yi +32 more
TL;DR: Chavarria-Smith et al. as mentioned in this paper developed a bispecific inhibitory antibody against KLK5 and KLK7 for treatment of Netherton Syndrome and atopic dermatitis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Publisher Correction: Classical and alternative complement activation on photoreceptor outer segments drives monocyte-dependent retinal atrophy.
Kenneth J. Katschke,Hongkang Xi,Christian Cox,Tom Truong,Yann Malato,Wyne P. Lee,Brent S. McKenzie,Rommel Arceo,Jianhua Tao,Linda Rangell,Mike Reichelt,Lauri Diehl,Justin Elstrott,Robby M. Weimer,Menno van Lookeren Campagne +14 more
TL;DR: A correction to this article has been published and is linked from the HTML and PDF versions of this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Genome-wide association study identifies kallikrein 5 in type 2 inflammation-low asthma.
Janet Jackman,A. Stockwell,David D. Choy,M. M. Xie,Peipei Lu,Guiquan Jia,Hong Li,Alexander R. Abbas,Paola G. Bronson,Wei Li,Cecilia Chiu,Henry R. Maun,Merone Roose-Girma,Lucinda Tam,Juan Zhang,Zora Modrusan,Robert R. Graham,Timothy W. Behrens,Steven R. White,Ted Naureckas,Carole Ober,Manuel A. R. Ferreira,Radislav Sedlacek,Jiansheng Wu,Wyne P. Lee,Robert A. Lazarus,James T. Koerber,Joseph R. Arron,Brian L. Yaspan,Tangsheng Yi +29 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a genome-wide association study of patients with moderate to severe asthma stratified by T2 serum biomarker periostin was performed and identified a novel protective single nucleotide polymorphism at chr19q13.41 associated with T2-low asthma.
