Journal ArticleDOI
Histone H3 lysine 27 trimethylation acts as an epigenetic barrier in porcine nuclear reprogramming.
TL;DR: H3K 27me3 acts as an epigenetic barrier in SCNT and iPS reprogramming, and reduction of H3K27me3 level in donor cells and in early reprograming phase can enhance both porcine SCNT or iPS efficiency.
Journal ArticleDOI
CDX2 is essential for cell proliferation and polarity in porcine blastocysts
Gerelchimeg Bou,Gerelchimeg Bou,Shichao Liu,Mingju Sun,Jiang Zhu,Binghua Xue,Jia Guo,Yueming Zhao,Bo Qu,Xiaogang Weng,Yanchang Wei,Lei Lei,Zhonghua Liu +12 more
TL;DR: The transcription factor CDX2 functions in the trophectoderm of pig embryos to maintain polarity and integrity of the blastocyst, revealing further diversity inCDX2 activities across mammals.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lineage specification and pluripotency revealed by transcriptome analysis from oocyte to blastocyst in pig
Qingran Kong,Xu Yang,Heng Zhang,Heng Zhang,Shichao Liu,Jianchao Zhao,Jiaming Zhang,Xiaogang Weng,Jun-Xue Jin,Zhonghua Liu +9 more
TL;DR: The existence of naïve pluripotency signature in morula and ICM of EB is demonstrated, and the specific pluripotent genes and the activity of signalling pathways highlight the characteristics of the naïve plurIPotency.
Journal ArticleDOI
Generation and characterization of stable pig pregastrulation epiblast stem cell lines.
Minglei Zhi,Jinying Zhang,Qianzi Tang,Dawei Yu,Shuai Gao,Dengfeng Gao,Pengliang Liu,Jianxiong Guo,Tang Hai,Jie Gao,Suying Cao,Zimo Zhao,Chongyang Li,Xiaogang Weng,Mengnan He,Tianzhi Chen,Yingjie Wang,Keren Long,Deling Jiao,Guanglei Li,Jiaman Zhang,Yan Liu,Yu Lin,Daxin Pang,Qianqian Zhu,Naixin Chen,Jingjing Huang,Xinze Chen,Yixuan Yao,Jingcang Yang,Zicong Xie,Xianya Huang,Mengxin Liu,Ran Zhang,Qiuyan Li,Yiliang Miao,Jianhui Tian,Xingxu Huang,Hongsheng Ouyang,Bofeng Liu,Wei Xie,Qi Zhou,Hong-Jiang Wei,Zhonghua Liu,Caihong Zheng,Mingzhou Li,Jianyong Han +46 more
TL;DR: In this article, a large-scale single-cell transcriptome analysis of pig embryos from embryonic day (E) 0 to E14, specifically, the tracing of pluripotency changes during epiblast development, was performed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Improvement in the in vitro development of cloned pig embryos after kdm4a overexpression and an H3K9me3 methyltransferase inhibitor treatment.
TL;DR: Both overexpression of kdm4a and treatment with a suv39h1/2 inhibitor improve the epigenetic reprogramming of cloned embryos and further improve the developmental competence in vitro.
