Associations of sleep duration and sleep quality with life satisfaction in elderly Chinese: The mediating role of depression.
Ting-Fan Zhi,Xun-Ming Sun,Shu-Juan Li,Qun-Shan Wang,Jian Cai,Lin-zi Li,Yan-xun Li,Min-Jie Xu,Yong Wang,Xuefeng Chu,Zhengdong Wang,Xiaoyan Jiang +11 more
TL;DR: Both sleep and depression status are important factors for LS among the elderly, and short sleep duration and poor sleep quality were inversely associated with LS, and the relationships were partially mediated by depression.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of a ranavirus isolated from cultured largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides) in China
Guocheng Deng,Shengjie Li,Jun Xie,Junjie Bai,Kunci Chen,Dongmei Ma,Xiaoyan Jiang,Haihua Lao,Lingyun Yu +8 more
TL;DR: Transmission electron microscopy and multiple alignment and phylogenetic analysis revealed that the virus is identical to doctor fish virus (DFV) and closely related to largemouth bass virus (LMBV).
Journal ArticleDOI
Unfulfilled promise of endostatin in a gene therapy-xenotransplant model of human acute lymphocytic leukemia.
Wolfgang Eisterer,Xiaoyan Jiang,Thomas Bachelot,Robert Pawliuk,Carolina Abramovich,Philippe Leboulch,Philippe Leboulch,Donna E. Hogge,Donna E. Hogge,Connie J. Eaves,Connie J. Eaves +10 more
TL;DR: These findings validate this gene transfer approach for investigating effects of novel therapeutics on primary human malignant cells that engraft NOD/SCID mice and question the utility of native endostatin for controlling human B-ALL in vivo.
Journal ArticleDOI
The expression and function of miRNA-451 in non-small cell lung cancer.
Xiao-Chun Wang,Li-Li Tian,Xiaoyan Jiang,Yueying Wang,Deguan Li,Yi She,Jianhui Chang,Meng Aimin +7 more
TL;DR: It is shown that miRNA-451 expression decreased in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) tissues and that its expression was negatively associated with lymph node metastasis, the stage of TNM classification and poor prognosis of NSCLC patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
Properties of CD34+ CML stem/progenitor cells that correlate with different clinical responses to imatinib mesylate
Xiaoyan Jiang,Xiaoyan Jiang,Donna L. Forrest,Franck E. Nicolini,Ali G. Turhan,Joelle Guilhot,Calvin K. Yip,Tessa L. Holyoake,Heather G. Jørgensen,Karen Lambie,Kyi Min Saw,Emily Pang,Ranko Vukovic,Paeta Lehn,Ashley Ringrose,Miao Yu,Ryan R. Brinkman,Ryan R. Brinkman,Clay Smith,Clay Smith,Allen C. Eaves,Allen C. Eaves,Connie J. Eaves +22 more
TL;DR: 2 properties of pretreatment CML stem/progenitor cells correlate with subsequent response to IM therapy, and prospective assessment of these properties may allow improved patient management.
