Journal ArticleDOI

Exenatide ameliorates experimental non-alcoholic fatty liver in rats via suppression of toll-like receptor 4/NFκB signaling: Comparison to metformin

TL;DR: The current results suggest that exenatide is equivalent to metformin in controlling insulin resistance, body weight gain, improving liver function, suppressing inflammation, and attenuating NAFLD progression in male rats.
Journal ArticleDOI

Diagnostic value of nitric oxide, lipoprotein(a), and malondialdehyde levels in the peripheral venous and cavernous blood of diabetics with erectile dysfunction

TL;DR: The finding of high levels of LP(a) and MDA with low levels of NO in the peripheral and cavernous venous blood of diabetic men with ED correlates strongly with severity of ED as measured by PPDU provides a rationale for further studies of biochemical markers as a surrogate for traditional invasive testing in the diagnosis of penile arterial insufficiency.
Journal ArticleDOI

Corrosion protection of petroleum pipelines in NaCl solution by microcrystalline waxes from waste materials: Electrochemical studies

TL;DR: In this paper, a wax coating was prepared using waste materials (isolated microcrystalline waxes) to protect petroleum pipelines against corrosion in 0.6 m NaCl solution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Superior efficiency of BN/Ce2O3/TiO2 nanofibers for photocatalytic hydrogen generation reactions

TL;DR: In this paper , a ternary composite of BN/Ce2O3/TiO2 nanofibers with high visible-light photocatalytic activity has been successfully obtained by an electrospinning technique.
Journal ArticleDOI

Large scale hybrid magnetic ZnFe 2 O 4 /TiO 2 nanocomposite with highly photocatalytic activity for water splitting

TL;DR: In this article, a hybrid magnetic ZnFe2O4/TiO2 nanocomposites (ZFTs) with various mass loading of 30-90% TiO2 was synthesized to improve the water splitting and hydrogen production via photocatalytic process under visible irradiation.
