Tailoring the Local Environment of Platinum in Single-Atom Pt1/CeO2 Catalysts for Robust Low-Temperature CO Oxidation
Dong Jiang,Yonggang Yao,Yonggang Yao,Tangyuan Li,Gang Wan,Xavier Isidro Pereira-Hernández,Yubing Lu,Jinshu Tian,Konstantin Khivantsev,Mark H. Engelhard,Cheng-Jun Sun,Carlos E. García-Vargas,Adam S. Hoffman,Simon R. Bare,Abhaya K. Datye,Liangbing Hu,Yong Wang,Yong Wang +17 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a single-atom Pt1/CeO2 catalyst was synthesized by thermal-shock (TS) synthesis and shown to be highly active and thermally stable.
Journal ArticleDOI
Direct observation of the formation and stabilization of metallic nanoparticles on carbon supports
Zhennan Huang,Yonggang Yao,Zhenqian Pang,Yifei Yuan,Yifei Yuan,Tangyuan Li,Kun He,Xiaobing Hu,Jian Cheng,Wentao Yao,Yuzi Liu,Anmin Nie,Soroosh Sharifi-Asl,Meng Cheng,Boao Song,Khalil Amine,Jun Lu,Teng Li,Liangbing Hu,Reza Shahbazian-Yassar +19 more
TL;DR: It is found that the formation of metallic nanoparticles is associated with the simultaneous phase transition of amorphous carbon to a highly defective turbostratic graphite (T-graphite), which strengthens the anchoring and provides excellent thermal stability to the nanoparticles.
Journal ArticleDOI
High temperature thermal management with boron nitride nanosheets
Yilin Wang,Lisha Xu,Zhi Yang,Hua Xie,Puqing Jiang,Jiaqi Dai,Wei Luo,Yonggang Yao,Emily Hitz,Ronggui Yang,Bao Yang,Liangbing Hu +11 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that an h-BN thin film composed of layer-by-layer laminated hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets can effectively enhance the lateral heat dissipation on the substrate and provide an effective approach to improve the heat Dissipation in integrated circuits and high power devices.
Journal ArticleDOI
Thermally Stable Cellulose Nanocrystals toward High-Performance 2D and 3D Nanostructures.
Chao Jia,Chao Jia,Chao Jia,Huiyang Bian,Tingting Gao,Feng Jiang,Iain Kierzewski,Yilin Wang,Yonggang Yao,Liheng Chen,Ziqiang Shao,Junyong Zhu,Liangbing Hu +12 more
TL;DR: Versatile cellulose nanocrystals (DM-OA-CNCs) are prepared through fully recyclable oxalic acid (OA) hydrolysis along with disk-milling (DM) pretreatment of bleached kraft eucalyptus pulp and show several advantages including large aspect ratio, carboxylated surface, and excellent thermal stability along with high yield.
Journal ArticleDOI
High-Performance, Scalable Wood-Based Filtration Device with a Reversed-Tree Design
Shuaiming He,Chaoji Chen,Guang Chen,Fengjuan Chen,Jiaqi Dai,Jianwei Song,Feng Jiang,Chao Jia,Hua Xie,Yonggang Yao,Emily Hitz,Gegu Chen,Ruiyu Mi,Miaolun Jiao,Siddhartha Das,Liangbing Hu +15 more
TL;DR: Water shortage is one of the most pressing challenges across the world and wood, a natural and sustainable material, possesses a unique hierarchical three-dimensional interconnected microstructur...
