Journal ArticleDOI

Fabrication of riboflavin electrochemical sensor based on homoadenine single-stranded DNA/molybdenum disulfide–graphene nanocomposite modified gold electrode

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors exploit 32-mer homoadenine ssDNA oligonucleotides (A 32 ) and graphene as an effective anchoring block for attachment to the layered molybdenum disulfide (MoS 2 ) and the Au electrode.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fluorescence analysis of 6-mercaptopurine with the use of a nano-composite consisting of BSA-capped Au nano-clusters and core–shell Fe3O4–SiO2 nanoparticles

TL;DR: The method was strongly selective for 6-MP in the presence of oxidants, phenols, heavy-metal ions, and especially bio-thiols.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solid-phase synthesis of graphene quantum dots from the food additive citric acid under microwave irradiation and their use in live-cell imaging

TL;DR: The work demonstrated that solid citric acid can be converted to graphene quantum dots (GQDs) under microwave heating and found that the GQDs showed good solubility, excellent photostability, and excitation-dependent multicolor photoluminescence.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Kinetic Spectrophotometric Method for the Determination of Ternary Mixtures of Reducing Sugars with the Aid of Artificial Neural Networks and Multivariate Calibration

TL;DR: In this paper, a differential spectrophotometric method has been developed for the simultaneous quantitative determination of glucose (GLU), fructose (FRU) and lactose (LAC) in food samples.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of the interaction between 10-hydroxycamptothecine and DNA with the use of ethidium bromide dye as a fluorescence probe

TL;DR: In this paper, the binding constant and binding number for 10-hydroxycamptothecine (HCPT) with DNA under pseudophysiological conditions (Tris-HCl buffer of pH 7.4), using ethidium bromide (EB) dye as a probe, were investigated with the use of spectrofluorimetry, UV-vis spectrometry and viscosity measurement.
